Episode #41

Sheridan continues to be haunted by memories of her past. Ms. Crane believes her tendency to make bad decisions and choose the wrong men stems from that terrible night all those years ago. Conversely, Hank asks Luis about his father and brother, Antonio, but quickly realizes the subject is still a sore spot for his friend. Sam and Grace put the pieces together and realize Charity is probably Grace's niece. Grace fears that the dark forces Faith talked about really are keeping her and her sister apart. The Bennetts race home, but Charity has already left. While Sam and Grace try contacting Faith on-line, Simone tries convincing Kay to tell her parents that Charity is at Miguel's. Episode #33

At the beach, Sheridan and Luis ran into each other and shared a few pleasant words. They discovered a mutual love for tango and other Spanish music. Luis thanked Sheridan for going to Pilar's party. He told her it had meant a lot to his mother. Sheridan told Luis that Pilar had gotten her through her childhood. After their encounter, Sheridan was convinced that Luis would go easy on her at court, and told Ethan so. She was relieved that fear of publicity had caused Julian to order Ethan not to use a sexual harassment charge against Luis in open court. After telling Ethan not to use sexual harassment in court, Julian went behind his son's back and called the mayor to accuse Luis of sexually harassing Sheridan. When Luis returned to the station and heard about the charges from Sam, he was convinced -- with good reason -- that Sheridan had filed them. Luis confessed to Sam that he had been planning to go easy on Sheridan, but he would instead be playing hardball. At court, Sheridan offered Luis a CD, which he coldly turned down. He repeated to Sam that he was out for blood. Theresa, sans costume, was at the club to meet Whitney. When she spied Frank walking around with her picture in tow, she quickly donned her wig. Eventually Frank approached her, showing the picture and asking if she had seen the girl. Theresa threw him off course by telling him that she did recognize the girl in the picture, and she was long gone, off to South America. Theresa left convinced that Frank was ready to close the case. Frank was about to throw in the towel when a gardener commented that he had seen the girl earlier in the day. Frank realized that Theresa had lied to him. After her tennis lesson was over, Whitney met Theresa and told her friend that her student had been none other than Ivy Crane. Ivy had complimented Whitney on her tennis and had asked her if she had a corporate sponsor. The girls speculated that Ivy might look into Crane Industries sponsoring Whitney's career, the answer to Whitney's dreams. This caused good old down-to-earth Theresa to dream about the perks and luxuries that accompanied all that money, while wild and crazy Whitney thought the money would be a godsend because it would take the financial burden for her training costs off of her parents. Later, Ivy mentioned Whitney to Julian, who felt that sponsoring a local player -- a local minority player -- might be just the image boost Crane Industries needed. When Whitney stopped by, Julian made her an offer. TC arrived at the club and was briefly haunted by memories of what it felt like to have to watch his father serving the rich, white patrons. When Whitney told him about the sponsorship, he was initially elated -- until he was face-to-face with Julian and realized who was offering the money. He immediately turned it down, later making excuses to Whitney about how she just wasn't ready for that phase yet. Ivy questioned Julian as to why there had been so much tension when he had seen who Whitney's father and coach was. Eve attempted to get the key to the shed off of TC's key ring. When that failed, she tried to pick the lock, but was unable to gain access. She wanted to know what drew TC to the shed.

Episode #32

Ivy was startled to find Sam at her front door. On the ride home to Castleton, Charity had a heart-to-heart chat with her grizzled cabdriver, unaware that the crusty old fellow was actually Tabitha in disguise. T.C. invited Miguel to join him in a game of one-on-one but was quickly sidelined by an old knee injury. Grace explained to Eve that she recognized one of the statues in church as the little girl who'd been "visiting" her. As Julian looked over the police chief's annual budget, Ivy pretended she was meeting Sam for the very first time. Sensing that someone nearby was in trouble, Father Lonigan dropped by the Bennetts' to check out a hunch. Fearing that the girl the priest had spoken of might be Charity, Miguel roared off on his motorcycle to effect another rescue. Julian smelled a rat when Ivy suddenly showed interest in attending the police department's picnic. After Miguel arrived on the scene and offered Charity a ride home, a seething Tabitha realized her archenemy has been meddling in her affairs yet again. T.C. shrugged off Eve's concern about his aching knee. An old Billy Joel tune held special memories for Sam and Ivy.

Episode #31

The town of Harmony was helping Pilar celebrate her birthday, with a variety of characters present. Miguel was having the time of his life with his new love interest, Charity. Unknown to her, the clock was unplugged, and she had no idea of the real time. She and Miguel shared some tender moments, much to the disgust of Kay, who looked on in despair. Jessica told Miguel and Charity the story of how if a person ate a bite of the love chili peppers after the person they loved ate one first, that they would have no choice but to make passionate love to one another. Kay heard that and, thinking that Miguel had already eaten one, couldn't wolf a plate of them down fast enough. Reece evidently heard the same tale, and before long, both he and Kay became sick from their attempts to win the passion of the ones they loved. It was hard to tell if Kay's green glow was from her jealousy of Charity or from her choice of foods. Once Charity learned of the true time, she was anxious to get home. Kay and Simone quickly offered her cab fare and rushed her out of town. Charity left a message for Miguel with Kay, who was only too happy to try to forget to deliver it to Miguel. Jessica, as usual, saved the day and told Miguel of Charity's message. He was brokenhearted to hear that she had left without saying goodbye. Kay quickly threw her arms around Miguel to comfort him in his time of need. Little known to Charity or any of the Harmony residents, she was in for the ride of her life. The cab driver was none other than a very well-disguised Tabitha. Timmy was hidden down in the floorboard and was not happy at the thought of causing harm to Charity. Even the thought of never running, playing, or drinking his martimmies again didn't make his pursuit of causing her harm any more pleasant for him. Unlike his maker, Timmy did not enjoy his destiny in life of being evil. Theresa again was lucky, as Ethan did not recognize her with cake on her face. She quickly got into her "nerd" clothing and getup. Even after walking in on Theresa and Whitney in her bedroom, Ethan could only recognize Whitney from the pier. Theresa's sense of self-confidence was built back up when she proved to herself and her best friend that her disguise had fooled Ethan. She was more determined than ever to keep her job at Crane mansion. Faith and Grace continued their phone conversation. Neither of them ever offered their first name to the other. They discussed how comfortable they were talking to one another and shared stories of motherly concern over their daughters. They attempted to make a date to meet and get to know one another, but Faith replied that she and her daughter would be moving the next morning. Grace told Faith that Sam had seen Charity at the party and that she was fine. The twins felt a great closeness, even after hanging up. Faith attempted to call Grace back to find out her name and address, but Grace had already left for the party. Upon Grace's arrival at the party, Sam told Grace that he had to leave to meet the mayor and Julian Crane at the Crane mansion. Grace asked Sam if he had ever been to the Crane mansion before. He told her no. He arrived at the mansion. However, in a flashback he was shown with hippie long hair, standing at the front entrance to the mansion. Pilar told him that Ivy had left and married Julian Crane. He screamed out, "No!" Just as he stopped thinking, he saw Ivy Crane drive up to the mansion. He appeared worried to see her again. Luis was seen blindfolded and fondling Sheridan at the party. He thought at first he was kissing his mother. When he realized that it was not his mother, he continued to feel up the woman, commenting on how good each part of her body felt and how he could fall in love. However, after he had made a fool of himself in front of the whole town, Sheridan pulled off his blindfold and revealed that he was rubbing himself all over none other than a member of the Crane family. He was disturbed that she had allowed him to continue touching her for so long. She had obviously enjoyed him touching her, yet both denied any pleasure and pretended to be sickened by the thought of being so close together. A fight nearly broke out between Luis and Ethan once Ethan realized that Luis had kissed his aunt. Sam broke up the fight, and Pilar convinced Ethan and Sheridan to stay at the party. Less than an hour had passed before Luis attempted to dance the tango with Eve. When she declined his offer, he turned to find another dance partner. He twirled around and was face-to-face with Sheridan again. After each of them bragged of being the better of the tango dancers, Luis dared her to be his partner. She immediately threw off her jacket, and the two them danced what could be described the most erotic tango ever seen on daytime television. The electricity sparked between them, and everyone stood and watched in awe as the two so-called archenemies danced closely, taking every opportunity to touch as much as possible. It was obvious how much they were enjoying their little escapade. At the end of the dance, they parted ways. Luis told his mother that Sheridan was a wonderful dancer, but not to tell her that he had said that, as she was conceited enough already. Ironically, Sheridan said the same of Luis to Ethan. As she and Ethan left Pilar's party, she looked back and reflected on the love of the Lopez-Fitzgerald family and wished that her and Ethan's family could be like that. Despite her and Luis' comments about staying away from each other, both could not deny the attraction that was becoming stronger and stronger.

Episode #30

Due to not warming up before her practices, Whitney had a slight case of tendonitis, which caused T.C. to rail at her, because he felt nothing should stop her from making the Olympic tennis team. Eve told T.C. that his pushing Whitney so hard might damage their relationship. Luis and Sheridan were at it again when she accidentally aimed for his new patrol car, and he gave her a ticket for reckless driving. Later, Sheridan decided to head off to sunny Brazil, but Ethan got her to reconsider her rash decision. They both headed to Pilar's house to present her with a gift. At the party, a blindfolded Luis reached out to embrace his mother during the piñata game but instead was embarrassed when he realizes he had kissed Sheridan instead. When Kay asked Miguel to teach her some Latin dance moves, Jessica countered by saying that Miguel should dance with Charity and then everyone could learn by watching them. Kay was not pleased with her sister's suggestion and even less pleased that she was stuck with Reese. When Theresa spotted Ethan at the party, she scrambled far away to keep him from recognizing her. She ended up going face-first into the birthday cake. Time wasn't on Charity's side, but for Grace, tardiness proved to be fateful. If she hadn't been late for Pilar's, she might have missed the momentous phone call -- from her sister. Faith and Grace were only a telephone line away.

Episode #29

As she tried to slip out of the mansion unnoticed, Theresa ran straight into Ethan. Certain she was hearing a frightened little girl calling out for help, Charity wandered out of the church to look for the child. Meanwhile, Grace approached the priest for advice about dealing with her re-emerging past. An angry Sheridan paced her jail cell, muttering about how Luis had ruined her homecoming. Recognizing his "stalker," Ethan accused a flustered Theresa of trying to break into his home. Miguel told his brother about the weird wind that had driven the girl of his dreams away from the Lobster Shack. Tabitha played hardball with Timmy when the doll balked at helping her destroy Charity. Later, posing as a frantic grandmother, Tabitha enticed Charity to help her search through the fog for the "lost" child. Julian decided to fire Pilar as punishment for her police officer son's misconduct, but Ivy icily warned him to lay off her friend. Still oblivious to her sister's presence, Faith turned to the same sightless priest for help. Theresa wrenched away from Ethan's grasp and fled through the estate with the Cranes' attack dogs in hot pursuit. Gwen explained to an astonished Sheridan why she had put Ethan's marriage proposal on hold.

Episode #28

The search for Charity appeared to be a bust, and Miguel, Kay, Simone, and Reese headed back to the Bennett house for lunch. Jessica was left trailing behind and bumped right into a young blonde girl. After the girl mentioned she was in to town to look for a boy she had just met whose last name she didn't know, Jessica figured out the girl was none other than Charity. Jessica chased after the group and proudly informed Miguel that she'd found what he was looking for. To Kay's annoyance, Charity and Miguel shared a tender reunion, but then Kay's spirits were lifted when Charity told Miguel she was there to see him one last time, because her mother wanted them to move. Reese and Jessica talked Charity into staying later so she could spend the one last day with Miguel. Kay was not happy with her sisters' interference As Tabitha continued to ask the spirit board for assistance in finding Charity, she amused herself by dropping Timmy into the washer and the dryer for a little soul cleansing. When Timmy was "Downy fresh," she told him that she had to get rid of Tabitha -- and soon -- since if Charity either got older, or fell in love and became a woman, her powers would be even stronger, and she would be impossible to defeat. The board told Tabitha that Charity was at the bus station. Sheridan was released from the big house, after one last run-in with Luis, and headed home with Ethan. Upon their arrival, they greeted Ivy. At the Crane house, Ivy asked Pilar how Sheridan was. Pilar commented that Sheridan had seemed completely recovered from her car accident. Ivy said that was not what she'd meant. She wanted to know how Sheridan had reacted to being in the living room. Pilar had no idea. They speculated that Sheridan might have avoided the room entirely. They went on to talk about "that night," hoping that Sheridan had put it behind her over the past years, and Ivy thanked Pilar for never having told anyone about "that night" and the events that could ruin Sheridan. As a disguised Theresa worked away in Ivy's room, Ethan went up to speak to his mother when he saw Theresa there instead. He was happy to finally have a chance to meet Pilar's daughter. Theresa nervously sat with her back to Ethan, and Sheridan tried to work up the courage to turn around. Theresa tried to scoot passed Ethan and go directly to Sheridan. She turned and tripped as she went to shake Sheridan's hand. A few minutes later, Ethan announced that he recognized Theresa. He called in Pilar. Theresa began to panic, but was calmed when Ethan revealed that he recognized her strong resemblance to her mother. As Pilar stood there, Ethan went on to ask Theresa if she knew a girl he was looking for, his stalker. Theresa talked about the fact that there were many girls in Harmony who met the description. Sheridan tried to force herself to face the living room, but she froze at the foot of the steps and couldn't walk into the room. Ivy greeted Sheridan and tried to talk Sheridan into going into the living room. Ivy asked if Sheridan was over what had happened, and asked her to, for the good of the family, not cause a scene. Lomax went to the station with the sketch of Theresa. He showed it Luis, who wouldn't even look at it once he realized that in doing so, he could be helping Ethan Crane. Lomax reminded Luis that he was making dangerous enemies, adding, "The Cranes own this town." Luis remained unimpressed.

Episode #27

Theresa was determined to take her new job without Ethan recognizing her. She spent most of the morning trying out new clothes, wigs, and hairstyles. She finally found the perfect disguise that made her appear completely different, as well as homely. She pulled her hair up and wore a short styled wig. The clothes she wore made her look like a librarian, and she wore dark, large-rimmed glasses. Ivy Crane did not recognize Theresa upon her arrival at the Crane mansion. Ivy obviously did not care for Theresa's new look but patronized her anyway. Ethan was busy with the sketch artist when she arrived and did not even see her. Frank, the detective/artist drew a portrait, which bore a great likeness to Theresa, but Ivy did not see the drawing. Theresa went upstairs to do Ivy's correspondence, but was shocked to run into her mother, who also did not recognize her daughter's new appearance. Charity was dreaming of Miguel and decided to catch the bus to Harmony. She attempted to make the table in her room rise with her special powers. When nothing happened, she said that if her mother were wrong about that then she might also be wrong about Harmony. Charity left to catch the bus. As she left the room, the table shook violently, and one of the angels fell to the floor and broke. She rode the bus, thinking of Miguel, and even spoke to an old lady about finding her friend. Kay worked desperately to keep Miguel from finding Charity. She tried to detain him as long as possible and offered little encouragement of his finding his dream girl. Jessica was the highlight of the scene as she continued to offer tips to Miguel on finding Charity. She suggested the bus depot as Miguel remembered Charity saying that she had needed to ride the bus to Harmony on the day of the carnival. He became very excited about Jessica's idea and was ready to race off to look for Charity. Kay stopped Miguel by reminding him of the ball game that was scheduled for that day. He almost decided to play ball, but upon Jessica's pushing, he chose to look for Charity. Kay was very annoyed at her sister's interference with her plan to keep Miguel far away from Charity. Her plan failed as Miguel and Jessica planned to search the depot. Not being outdone, Kay and Simone joined them, along with Reese, in the search. As usual, Miguel and Charity were within a few feet of one another without seeing each other. Luis went around checking on his inmates when he discovered Sheridan having a bad dream. He entered her cell and gently tried to awaken her from her dream. She rose up, thinking that she had found the man that had saved her from Jean Luc, and wrapped her arms around Luis. He sat there dumbfounded at her, and finally she opened her eyes. Realizing what she was doing and with whom, she jumped back and became defensive to Luis. He, too, became agitated at her attitude, and he left her in the cell. Sam later confronted Luis about his dealings with her and accused him of having an affair with Sheridan. He protested, and Sam played the video surveillance tape that showed the hug. Luis explained what had happened and told Sam of his and Sheridan's mutual hatred of each other. Sam had to take Luis' word for it because the tape ran out before the two of them pulled apart in disgust. Sam almost slipped and told Luis of what his deep-rooted hatred for the Crane family was before he caught himself. Luis was relieved to know that he was not the only one in town who hated the Cranes. Ethan arrived to pick up his aunt, and Luis went to open her cell. He handed her package of belongings to her and dropped the picture of Jean Luc on the floor. As the two of them both bent down to pick it up, he asked her if that was whom she thought she was hugging earlier. She became upset with Luis and told him it was none of his "damn business." Then, as he started to leave, she called out to him and offered to tell him exactly who Jean Luc was and what he meant to her.

Monday 9 August 1999

Episode #26

Theresa was ready to call Ivy Crane and decline the job offer to be Ivy's personal secretary. When Ethan answered and told her how much his mother was looking forward to working with her and how he, too, looked forward to seeing her, she again could not manage to say no. She went the next morning to the country club with Whitney and that, too, only fueled her fire to become a part of the rich and famous lifestyle. Theresa bumped into her mother at Grace's store and told her mother that she just had to work for Ivy Crane. Her mother was not approving but saw that Theresa was determined to take the job. She agreed not to interfere and gave her blessing. Miguel spent the morning on the fishing boat, remembering the night before when he had finally found the girl of his dreams and saved her life on the pier. Miguel was in deep thought about Charity when Simone and Kay approached him. Kay, who was sure that her plan to keep Charity and Miguel apart, offered her insincere condolences to Miguel for not being able to help him find his dream girl. Timmy could have knocked her over with a feather when Miguel informed her that he had indeed found the girl and knew her name: Charity. Miguel told Kay of how he had saved Charity from the hole in the pier, and they had walked around for a while before Charity had needed to leave. Kay was dumbfounded and more determined than ever to keep the two lovebirds apart. She then offered to cook him breakfast at her house and do some group planning to devise a smart search plan to find Charity. Of course, she could not cook, nor did she have any intention of helping Miguel find Charity. Grace told Pilar of how she was trying to remember her past. Charity and her mother talked of her special powers, and Faith tried to prove to Charity that she was a channel of goodness. Faith attempted to get Charity to use her powers to levitate a table, but nothing happened. Faith told Charity to pack her things that they would be moving from their home by sundown. Charity made a call to check on bus runs and devised a plan to sneak back to Harmony to see Miguel one last time. Ethan and Gwen sat on the couch, discussing the stalker. Gwen was thinking about what Sheridan had told her about reconsidering Ethan's proposal. Just as she was about to say something, Ethan again started talking about the girl whom he just had to find. He later talked to a private investigator who was going to track down the psycho girl. Meanwhile, Timmy and Tabitha were trying to find out how to locate Charity when she returned. Tabitha's cards revealed that the girl would be back in town. Timmy's day did not get off to a good start. He was still damp from the night before and was preparing himself a batch of his famous martimmy's, warm this time. Timmy was sent to find the spirit board and had yet another round with Fluffy, who used Timmy as a scratching post. Tabitha killed a rooster that had been waking her up early and made rooster sausages out of him. After eating his fowl breakfast, Timmy was still complaining about being wet. Tabitha promptly stuffed him in the dryer, but she gave a public service announcement to not try this at home and even admitted that she had done something naughty. Timmy was removed from the dryer, sporting a nice Keith Richards hairdo, but was no worse for the wear, although he was concerned that he might have shrunk a few inches. Tabitha and Timmy discussed the importance of finding Charity before the sisters found one another and used their powers to destroy the two of them. There was a flashback of Miguel and Charity remembering the near fatal accident and thinking of the night before.

Episode #25

As Luis is driving Miguel home he gets radioed from the station that there is a problem on the Crane estate. The silent alarm has been tripped. Miguel offers to just walk home and Luis speeds off to deal with those pesky Cranes. Theresa has had a rough night and looks it as she hides on the Crane estate. Ethan orders the guards to call off the dogs and continues to search for his "Stalker" without them. He is convinced that the stalker is troubled and he vows to get her the help, that she desperately needs. When Luis arrives Ethan is immediately hostile to him. The guards have told Luis about the stalker, but Ethan won't give him any information. While Luis and Ethan are talking Theresa manages to get into the back of Luis' car. As Luis drives off he is amused by the thought of Ethan having a stalker, until he starts to think about his own sister's obsession with young Mr. Crane. Theresa listens as Luis puts two and two together and realizes that she might be the person who's been stalking Ethan. When he arrives home Luis storms upstairs to get some answers from his errant sister. At first he suspects that she isn't home which only confirms his suspicions, but Theresa swings open the bedroom door dressed in a bathrobe with a towel around her hair. Luis asks her if she broke into the Crane house that night, and Theresa honestly answers no. Luis accepts what she says and leaves. Theresa has had it with the ducking and dodging, she decides to call Ivy Crane and say she cannot take the job. Gwen expresses regrets that she didn't accept Ethan's proposal. She tells Sheridan that the only reason she had been reluctant was because she felt Ethan was unsure, and she wanted him to choose her because he loved her and wanted to be with her, not because it was the easy thing to do. Sheridan assures Gwen that Ethan's heart belongs only to her. When she arrives home she tries to arrange a vacation with Ethan he declines. Charity wanders out on the pier looking for the "little lost girl" and falls through, just like Tabitha planned. Ethan tells her of the stalker girl and how all poor people are after the Crane fortune. Theresa overhears Ethan talk about hating poor people and how greedy they all are and how he plans to make the crazy girl pay for what she has done. Luis and Whitney discuss Theresa's obsession with Ethan and his family. Luis tells her that he suspects that the Crane family somehow has something to do with the disappearance of his father. He can't prove it, but he just knows it. She tells him the truth about Theresa loosing her job at the Cannery and how she dumped fish guts all over Ethan by accident. Theresa arrives home to find everyone gone except Whitney. She tells Whitney of her misfortune in the Crane mansion from spilling her guts out to Ethan, who never heard her, to overhearing his hatred remarks about his rich family being bothered by stalkers and people who are only after their money. She tells Whitney that she is going to swear off loving Ethan Crane and forget the fantasy of marrying him once and for all. At the Lobster Shack, Tabitha is spinning around like a top in the air. Episode #21

Faith and Charity found their way to the Lobster Shack where they were seated less than fifty feet from Sam and Grace. The twins never saw each other, but they both began to experience the feelings of happiness that they did before at the carnival when unknowingly they were very close. Miguel, Reese, and Kay all sat together as Kay realized in horror that Jessica had set her up for a date with Reese. Reese was very excited and Kay knew that if she objected that Miguel would be upset with her for hurting her friend's feelings. Kay endured the date fine as long as Miguel was seated next to her. Miguel was searching for his mystery date, whom he was sure was Charity. He still did not know her name, nor anything about her. Kay pretended that she had indeed made the date with Charity as she could see this meant a lot to Miguel. She did not tell him that it was actually her that he had won his dinner date with. Miguel tried to look around the restaurant for Charity, but Kay insisted that she would search for him. Little did he realize that Charity, the girl of his dreams, was seated right behind him? The two never saw one another. Sam and Grace were trying to keep Jessica away from rescuing in the lobsters as well as away from her sister and her date. Grace told him that she was experiencing those happy feelings again. Charity and Faith were also discussing her feelings for her lost sister. Faith is certain that Grace is happy wherever she may be and she hopes to find her soon. She tells Charity of the special bond she and her twin have always shared. Theresa is still wandering around the Crane mansion trying to get out before she runs straight into Ethan. She had already told him of her feelings and how all the horrible things that had happened were accidents. But Ethan was behind the door taking a shower and heard nothing Theresa had said. He thought it was Gwen who was talking to him. Theresa hid under the bed while Gwen and Ethan were discussing the crazy girl that had been stalking him. This upset Theresa even more but made her realize that she did need to meet him right now. She needed to be as far away from him as possible. However, Gwen stopped her as she came down the stairs and asked her what she was doing. Sheridan was on the plane flying home from Paris. She talked with Ethan and told him of Jean Luc and how their affair was over. He told Sheridan of the crazy girl that had been stalking him. Sheridan did not know that Jean Luc's car had been blown up with him and Mimi. Nor did she know that Roger and Pierre are after her and trying to kill her. Timmy and Tabitha are desperately trying to prevent Charity, Faith, and Grace from meeting as the forces of Good will overcome the dark side and kill Tabitha and Timmy. Timmy is scared as Tabitha sees the twins in the Lobster Shack and faints only to rise up and spin in the air. Timmy screams and fears for his life.
